1964-1973 Ford Mustang Oil Pan Front Sump Blue 260/289/302. This Blue Front Sump Oil Pan is a high-quality reproduction of the original that is designed to be a direct-fit replacement for your classic Mustang. This reproduction oil pan features a durable, OE style blue painted finish. This 1 inch deeper than stock oil pan increases oil capacity will diminish the possibility of any oil starvation, especially in those intense driving situations A drain plug is included.. On 64-65 Mustangs with power steering, this deeper pan will rub the power steering center link. This can be corrected by either running the taller and stronger 66 engine mounts or by simply adding a 1/4" shim of washers to 1965 motor mounts to lift the engine up.
